Josh M. hellman
Co-founder, CEO
Josh is a Colorado native, born and raised in Denver. As a student of innovation and a advocate of sustainability, he co-founded the Green Bank of Colorado in July of 2017. As a leader in sustainability, Josh sat on the Differed Maintenance & Sustainability board at the CU state level and sat as the co-chair of the Green Action Fund. After graduating from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Innovation, Josh went on to help lead the Green Bank to its next evolution of impact. With three years of experience in renewable energy design and contracting, Josh has become attuned to the industry and provides insight for integrating sustainability into the economy.
Jack T. Heitman
Co-Founder, CFO
Jack, raised in Denver, Colorado, is a strong proponent for the betterment of the state, the US, and the world. His love for the sprawling forests and wild Rocky Mountains of Colorado drives him to constantly seek the improvement of society’s connection to nature; and through this connection he sees the unique possibilities to raise the standard, even normalize, co-existing with the natural world. He co-founded the Green Bank of Colorado in 2018 and has gained experience in Solar energy design and contracting. Since graduating from the University of Denver with a BSBA in Finance, Jack’s ultimate goal has been to bridge the finance industry with the health of the environment so that the success and growth of one inherently means the same in the other.
Tyler D. Wengert
Chairman, CIO
Tyler is in his final semester at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, where he is pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science along with a minor in Spanish Language and Culture. Growing up largely in Winter Park, Colorado, Tyler got the chance to become intimately close with the natural beauty of Colorado, and he sees the tremendous value of preserving it. In addition to his outdoor hobbies, Tyler loves to play and watch soccer, which is how he was initially introduced to Mr. Hellman.
Will hurd
Board Member
Will Hurd is a partner at Elysium, funding biosequestration strategies and the movement
towards a regenerative future. Will’s background is in economics, health, and sustainability.
He is a fourth-generation Coloradan and alumni of the University of Denver.
Victoria hurd
Board Member
Victoria Hurd is a partner at Elysium, a conscious capital investment firm, and co-founder of
the sustainable health platform Human Nature Collective. She is passionate about taking
startups from beta to reality and elevating their brand presence. Victoria has turned her
focus to investing in people and projects that pave the way toward a regenerative future.
She and her husband Will are working to address two of the most critical challenges of our
time: exponentially rising rates of chronic disease and the climate crisis
